Neville Brody Flashcard Ideas

These are some ideas for the front and back of my flashcards I'm designing for Type class. They are probably going to be about 7"x10," so oversized flashcards. They're about Neville Brody, a very influential and well-known typographer and graphic designer. I haven't decided which one I like best yet.

Heaven and Hell

For GIC I have to design a calendar with imagery and the theme is heaven and hell. In other words, 6 "heavenly" images and 6 "hellish" images. I can also combine 2 images for one month. They can be photographs, drawings, mixed media, anything really. So... any suggestions??

Heavy Lid Posters - Type HW

In Type class we were each given crazy phrases (mine was "Heavy Lid") and the assignment was to take photos of connotations of our phrase and then incorporate typography into the composition. These are some of mine, I had a lot of fun playing around with them.

Embracing Our Differences

I think I'm going to go with this for my "Embracing Our Differences" project for Intercultural Communications class. We still have a week til it's due, but I thought this was a cute and fun submission and I had fun playing around with it.

Graphic Lipstick

Check out my FlipBook

For Graphic Design we had to pick an every day object (I chose lipstick) and represent it in as many ways as possible. This included sketches, photography, graphic icons, graphic translations, outside references, type, color schemes, connotative, and denotative words. After gathering all our material, we put it together into a flip book using Adobe Flash.

New Youtube Stuff

I decided to set up another youtube account with some of my compositions and stuff I come up with on piano. I have original songs and a few covers I made to songs like "Heartless" by Kanye West and "December" by Collective Soul. Check it out!

Every stoplight should look like this

I don't know what it is about this picture that attracts me so much but I love it! I found it here. Thought I would spread the love ;]

Way down yonder

New Orleans. I wanna go there again. Preferably sometime soon. The last and only time I was there I was only in the city for a few short hours. And believe me, it definitely was not enough! These are some photos from my trip a few months ago. I could not get over how gorgeous it all was.

In the land of dreamy scenes
There's a garden of Eden
You know what I mean"

There really is no place... home.

I took this picture of my Dad and my (not-so-little-anymore) brother when I came home for spring break a few weeks ago. We took the dogs out for a walk at Chatfield Hollow and I thought it was crazy how much they look alike!

Anyhoo, it was fun editing and playing around with =]

hope you enjoy!
